Brief Description:The works were spread over the two hospitals and had to be run concurrently with one another.
Works involved the responsive repairs to building fabric and interiors. From repairs to floors, redecorations, mechanical, electrical to toilet refurbishment, ward refurbishment or hygiene works. CG were employed as a diverse multi skilled service to undertake all types of works throughout both hospitals. The area of operation to both sites was spread over approx 30 buildings. Design & Innovation: Wherever we were able to assist, CG helped to provide bright fresh easy clean maintainable surfaces. We also put forward various hygienic ideas for toilet maintenance and refurbishment which have been rolled out throughout the hospitals.
Our innovative approach to repairs and planned works was very welcome to the estates department and assisted us in securing longer term relation and secure works. Client: Guys & St Thomas’ NHS Trust

Bearing in mind the nature of the works, logistical planning of each operation was crucial for protecting the public and patients from the works. Work operations had to take place 24 hours a day to work around patients and doctors causing minimal disruption at all times. What Our Clients Say: This was the first contract CG carried out at the hospitals and they worked extremely efficiently and safely whilst completing their works.
The quality of works completed was very high and has proved to be a success in promoting longer term maintenance free areas within the hospital. We hope to work with CG again in the future. |
