| Portman Estates Cyclical A |
|
Brief Description:The works included roof repairs, stone renovation, brickwork stitching and re-pointing, redecorations and woodcare repairs to sash windows.
The area of works was around Marble Arch in London and is a very exclusive area with private tenure to all properties leased by the estate. Particular attention was focused on RLO duties and liaison with residents and occupied businesses, to ensure communications was paramount and assist in the success of the project Design & Innovation: All scaffolding had to be erected up and over from the front elevation to each rear elevation. The rear elevations contained extensions and additional buildings so access methods were key to this project.
We pre-surveyed all properties to ensure that a system scaffold could be used to the rear elevations wherever possible and utilised hanging scaffold and cradles to minimise the impact on residents. Client: Portman Estates
