Client Contact: Lucy Goldsmith Project: Kings Langley School, Kings Langley Contract Duration: 8 weeks Contract Sum: £160,000 Brief Description:The works consisted of the complex removal of asbestos insulation board used as window infill panels to 3 levels of Block D. Work enclosures were constructed within classrooms, corridors and office areas. So the asbestos could be removed under fully controlled conditions to assist with the construction of the work enclosure sections of non asbestos MMMF/Plaster ceilings had to be carefully removed, this allowed for a full airtight seal of the enclosure and prevention of any potential cross contamination of the ceiling void.
On completion of the removal works the ceilings were reinstated to match existing and temporary plywood was installed into the window infills. Client: May Gurney Ltd
Client Contact: Steven Revell Project: Willowbrook Primary School, Brentwood Works: Asbestos residue removal Contract Duration: 3 weeks Contract Sum: £25,000 Brief Description:The works consisted of the removal of asbestos insulation board debris located within the floor ducts on the ground floor of the Infant Block and asbestos insulation board ceiling tiles within various rooms. Works within the Infant Block were carried out whilst the Primary School was fully functional. Hoarding were constructed around the Infant Block causing minimum disruption to the Primary School, this in turn allowed the project to run swiftly and on program.
Within the program period our team of surveyors assist the independent analytical consultant for additional investigation works/intrusive survey. Client: London Borough of Lambeth
Client Contact: Gary Morris Project: Norwood School SE19 Works: Asbestos residue removal Contract Duration: 8 weeks Contract Sum: £272,000 Brief Description: The works consisted of the removal of asbestos residue beneath the non asbestos MMMF pipe insulation located internally and externally to school within the floor ducts that were covered with concrete and timber covers.
The asbestos removal project was part of a major heating upgrade to the school and was completed in a tight program over two school terms. Phase one of the project was completed whilst the school was fully functional, hoardings were constructed around the access points into the floor ducts causing minimum disruption to the school which allowed the M&E element of the project additional time to complete the works. Client Contact: Liza Stafford Project: Sele School, Hertford Works: Asbestos Removal within Science Labs Contract Duration: 1 weeks Contract Sum: £18,000 Brief Description: Asbestos removal works were required to assist with the refurbishment of the Science Labs in the half term period of the school. The works consisted of the removal of fan convectors with asbestos insulation board, AIB from sky lights and floor tiles throughout the Labs.
