CG Interiors were originally commissioned to carry out the soft strip demolitions and builders work on the existing building. Additional work packages included: - roofing, flooring, new internal block work walls, suspended ceilings, plastering, painting and decorating, structural openings for a new lift installation and new services including the renewal of major plant on the roof were also undertaken.

This waste land site was acquired in July 2007 with the possibility of planning a new build office and warehouse construction. We assisted the clients in obtaining planning permission and with appointment of the lead architect.

Billericay Police Station

Project Name

Billericay Police Station was converted by CG Interiors to conform to the Disability Discrimination Act. We removed the existing ramp, front entrance steps, entrance doors and public counter. We converted the existing office, formed a new disabled toilet facility along with other internal office alterations to assist disabled persons accessibility.

This project was to construct an extension to the school to allow for the installation of a new lift. The scope included construction of a new entrance ramp and canopy, alterations to the ground, first and second floor classrooms and refurbishment of existing toilet facilities.

Brief Description:The works consist of the removal of various asbestos containing materials from properties owned by HCC within the boundaries of the county of Hertfordshire, locations covered by this include all public buildings eg: Schools, Day Centres, Library’s, Fire Ambulance Services, Police Stations and Housing Stock

All removal works are organised to facilitate HCC needs, so we programme works to be completed during the holidays, nights or by arrangement when the building is live and in use.

We have successfully been carrying out the removal works with HCC since 2004 and have recently been awarded the new Measured Term Contract which will commence in May 2009

We also carry out various reinstatement projects in connection with the asbestos removal works using our sister company CG Interiors.

Brief Description:In 2009 Cranegates were awarded the MTC to remove various asbestos containing materials located within housing stock (up to 7,000 properties) and schools.

The contract consists of planned removal works and emergency/24hour coverage. The main part of the contract consists of the removal of ACMs within occupied dwellings in conjunction with any refurbishment project being completed by the Vale of Glamorgan.

Brief Description: Cranegates Ltd have been selected as one of four framework partners for Yorkshire Water to supply Asbestos Removal services over 4 years for work valued at £6.3 Million.

To support this project parent company CG Group are delighted to announce the recent opening of a new Regional Office in Sheffield.

The key aim of Yorkshire Water was the progression of an open book cost arrangement in a collaborative partnership, with Asbestos Consultants and Co-Contractors. Yorkshire Water services set out their plans to develop of a more dynamic and trusting working relationship, aiming to deliver protected profit margins and to integrate performance targets and incentives.

Brief Description: In March 2008 Cranegates were awarded a 3-5year contract for asbestos removal works, encapsulation and reinstatement (when required) which covers up to 6,500 properties within the Chelmsford area.

The removal works are carried out in occupied properties, void properties and external outbuildings.

In connection with the removal works any reinstatement requirements requested by Chelmer Housing Partnership would be completed by our sister company CG Interiors.
