One of the worlds leading construction groups has praised a rising asbestos specialist and multi-disciplined building company for work on an exclusive refurbishment project in London. The CC Group, with offices in Essex and Yorkshire, were contracted by construction giants SKANSKA to assist the refurbishment of 38 Finsbury Square, a cosmopolitan office complex in central London. The CG Group are multi-disciplined builders and specialise in the delivery of housing regeneration, asbestos removal, multi-trade packages, refurbishment and demolition. Following the extensive renovation of 38 Finsbury Square, the building went onto win Regional Winner in BCO Awards. The team was not only up against stiff competition and tight budget restrictions to win the contract, but were looking to receive a good BREEAM rating too. The high-profile contract alone cemented the CC Group as a company to look out for within the construction industry, but the award and personal congratulations from SKANSKA came as welcome praise. The project involved the re-branding of a 1990’s building into a modern-day architectural master-piece complete with entrances that would lead to a change of address from Wilson Street to the famous Finsbury Square. The simply designed offices now boast new floors and ceilings and are virtually column-free offering fantastic views of Finsbury Square to its workers. The 38 Finsbury Square project is just one of many impressive developments the CG Group has undertaken. Former clients have included Yorkshire Water; Land Securities and UCL and also worked for Royal Households. |
